Performance Coach

Andrew serves as the performance lead at I3 Human Performance, bringing an evidence-based, systems-driven approach to coaching. He earned his B.S. in Health Sciences from Samford University, with a minor in Data Analytics, and his M.S. in Physiology of Exercise (Human Performance Track) from Ohio University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), applying current sport science principles to optimize performance, adaptation, and long-term athlete development.

A former state champion in cross country and the 1600 meters, Andrew combines competitive insight with advanced academic training in exercise physiology. His background in data analytics allows him to translate performance metrics into precise programming decisions, helping athletes train with clarity and measurable progression.

Andrew specializes in integrating strength and conditioning with endurance training through structured systems designed to reduce injury risk, improve durability, and support sustainable performance.

Kevin Cox

Ultra Endurance Coach

Kevin brings more than 15 years of endurance experience and 44 ultra-distance finishes to I3 Human Performance, including multiple 50-mile, 100K, and 100-mile races, multi-day stage events, and long-distance adventure efforts such as Rim to Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon. He has logged countless miles on rugged mountain terrain, from the Smoky Mountains to Frozen Head State Park, home of the legendary Barkley Marathons, developing the durability, discipline, and resilience required for high-level ultra performance.

As a full-time professional, husband, and father, Kevin understands firsthand the challenge of training at a high level while balancing work and family life. He is especially passionate about helping driven professionals pursue ambitious endurance goals without sacrificing the responsibilities that matter most.

Kevin focuses on building durable athletes through intelligent progression, practical scheduling, disciplined fueling, and mental resilience, helping athletes navigate the demands of long course performance in both sport and life.
